The texture is sumptuous yet graceful, displaying fantastic poise and clarity through its classically structured framing and balance. The finish calls back the nose’s multidimensionality, simultaneously achieving a flashy, rugged persistence housed in an exquisite, understated and nuanced package. This is a real work of art that should deliver immense pleasure for two decades. It’s a blend of 96% Cabernet Sauvignon and 4% Petit Verdot, aged for 18 months in predominantly barrique with a small portion of foudre.
