The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Anjea Sleeping Lady Vineyard captures all the potential it showed from barrel. Dark cherry, plum, rose petal, spice and mocha all build in a pliant, wonderfully expressive Cabernet that hits all the right notes. In this vintage, the Anjea is on the brooding side, but it has a good deal of elegance as well. The dark, substantial finish points to a very bright future. Drink 2027-2041

Strong and well structured, this full-bodied wine should have a long life ahead of it. Bold aromas of black cherries, blueberries, violets and dark chocolate lead to dense, concentrated black fruit flavors accented by graphite, iron, cocoa and espresso. Made from 100% cabernet sauvignon grapes, clone 22 in block 4. Drinkable now, but best from 2030.

Coming from the Sleeping Lady Vineyard in Yountville, the 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon Anjea is a sensational wine displaying that classic Nigel purity and elegance yet bringing depth, richness, and length galore. Cassis, currants, Griottecherries, graphite, Mediterranean herbs, and even a hint of iron define the aromatics, and it’s full-bodied and pure, with ultra-fine tannins and a gorgeous finish. This majestic, just about flawless Cabernet Sauvignon deserves 4-6 years of bottle age and will be 30+-year wine. Drink 2028-2058
