Aurus 2015 is the exceptional red wine that Miguel Ángel de Gregorio makes at Finca Allende. It is an assembly of 85% Tempranillo and 15% Graciano from four plots within the same plot located in the municipality of Briones (Rioja). They were planted 65 years ago on clay soil with abundant gravel and stones. A great wine, deep and harmonious, born in a vintage that favored the concentration and sweetness of the tannins, allowing a long aging of 24 months in new French oak barrels. It captivates with its excellent load of fruit dotted with notes of undergrowth. In the mouth it is silky and very fresh, with a long balsamic finish. Only 4,800 bottles of a great red wine for aging.

Intense purple in color with powerful and elegant aromas on the nose, including berry compote, mineral notes, ink, sweet spice, mint, wild herbs, toffee and cocoa. On the palate, the wine offers great harmony and balance with ripe tannins and complex flavors of wild berries, sultanas, licorice, coffee and Mediterranean forest herbs. With well-balanced acidity and an interminable finish, this wine will age well in bottle. Drink 2020-2032.
