A bright magenta/ruby colour, the 2019 Brunello di Montalcino is floral and expressive with aromas of wild roses, raspberry liqueur, blood orange, and fresh pine, medium-bodied, it’s graceful throughout, with refined tannins, even, mouthwatering acidity and a salty finish. It keeps you coming back for more and is going to benefit from at least another year in bottle. Drink 2025 – 2040

Lustrous ruby. Pretty nose of red fruit with a dark earth note and a mere suggestion of oak. Cool-climate character. Sleek and succulent and with fine, gripping tannins; more direct than the Rennina of the same vintage. Will improve with more bottle age, even if it is already very attractive.
Tasting Note
Deep, dark ruby red colour. Wonderfully accentuated bouquet of wild cherries, rose petals and violets. Silky and polished on the palate, with a noticeable vitality. The proportions of fruit, acidity and tannin are well balanced, complemented by exciting notes of liquorice and herbs. Medium-long, very balanced finish. This Brunello ideally represents the exceptional vintage and will certainly continue to grow in the years to come.
