How does buying from Scarabée work?
At Scarabée, we are dedicated to sourcing exceptional wines from the best source, with a focus on giving our customers the best prices. As an independent company, we prioritize your interests above all, free from any external influence.
All wines are in pristine condition and sourced from reputable suppliers, primarily UK agencies, as we aim to avoid the secondary market. They are in their Original Case (OWC or OCC), unless otherwise specified.
Our selection includes wines available for immediate delivery, as well as future releases still at the winery or in transit. When you make a selection on our website, you’re placing a request for us to source and deliver the wines. We will get in touch with you promptly to confirm the details.
Are the photos in the listing of the actual stock for sale?
No, the photos are for illustrative purpose only. However, we can provide actual photos upon request.
Do you have a minimum order value?
No, there is no minimum order value. All our wines are sold by the case, and the minimum order is just one case.
Can I buy In Bond or Duty Paid?
Absolutely, you can choose either option. If a wine has already been cleared from bond, this will be indicated in the product listing.
Will I pay for delivery or bond transfer?
No, we do not charge for delivery or bond transfers within the UK mainland. For international deliveries, we will be happy to provide a quote upon request.

At what point is my payment due?
Payment is due upon receipt of the invoice.
How do I pay my outstanding invoice?
Please settle your invoice via direct bank transfer. Our bank details are provided below and on your invoice:

Where can I find copies of my old invoices?
Simply email us with your request and reference numbers, and we will send you the invoices promptly.
STORAGE
Can I store my wines with you?
Yes, you can. Please specify your storage requirements at the time of purchase. We offer both bonded and duty-paid storage options.
Are my wines insured whilst in storage?
Absolutely. All wines stored with us are fully insured at their full replacement value.
How much does storage cost?
Storage is £35 per unit per year (June to May). A unit is defined as 6 x 75cl bottles or the equivalent (e.g., 3 magnums, 12 halves, etc.). A case containing fewer than 6 bottles will still be considered as 1 unit. Delivery is free (Full case only) within UK mainland, and your stock remains insured while in storage.
